Roehrs Helical Disk Spring Power Packs

This power pack is composed of a quadruplicated screwed together helical disk spring.
It is applied in hydrogen fuel cells featuring a high energy density for instance (e.g. satellites / submarines).

The benefits include:

• Extreme high spring force by minimal outer diameter
Example: With an outer diameter of 18 mm a spring force of 10 kN is achieved. With an outer diameter of 23 mm a spring force of 25 kN is achieved.
