Achievable filtering information does not correspond with the pore size of the filtering paper, but is the maximum achievable filter grade under optimum conditions.

Filtering quality can be substantially poorer with new filter paper or with filter caking.

If filtering quality and paper usage is not satisfactory, better results may likely be achieved with a magnetic drum filtering system in front of the paper filter.
