BERG Rotary Transmission Leadthroughs HDF

Rotary transmission leadthroughs serve as a rear inter face for fluid transmission into the spindle. A hydromechanic clamping unit or integrated clamping cylinder can be actuated with the media oil, air and coolant. The transmission of oil and coolant is possible at rotational speed.

Design Features

The HDF hydraulic rotary transmission leadthrough with integrated coolant feed was specifically designed for HSK, SK and CAPTO interfaces in combination with the hydro-mechanical clamping units. The rotary transmission lead-through runs in its own bearing and can be integrated in the spindle.

When the HDF is used with hydrodynamic, self-limiting clamping systems which are not pressurised with clamping pressure at rotational speed, a rotating pressure of 5 bar is to be applied to the clamping line for lubrication and cooling. The rotary transmission leadthrough can be mounted in any position.
